Electronic Commerce
Walker's state-of-the-art electronic commerce capabilities enable simple, fast, and reliable exchange of critical business information. We support a range of communication platforms including email, FTP, FTP over SSL, SFTP, traditional Value Added Network, and two value added ISPs. In addition to an extensive traditional EDI program, Walker also sends and receives data in CSV and XML formats.
EDI implementations embrace the TCIF, RIF, and UIG guidelines. We are compliant with standards from 2000 to 4030. Walker exchanges EDI purchase orders, purchase order changes, purchase order acknowledgements, advance shipment notifications, invoices, and electronic funds transfers. Walker also emails shipment information to the customer's buyer for each order including order details, shipping details (tracking number), and Walker contact information.
