SOLUTIONS
Ethernet Switching/Routing
Building and securing reliable networks with high performance Ethernet routing, switching, and security. Product line includes ExaScale, TeraScale E-Series Switch/Routers, C-Series (Resilient Switches), and S-Series (Access Switches).
Multi-Service Transport Switches
Force10’s Traverse Family of Multiservice Transport Switches delivers new levels of versatility, reliability and performance to multiservice transport networks by enabling carriers and other service providers to increase bandwidth capacity, packet optimize their transport networks, and deliver new Ethernet/IP-based services more rapidly and efficiently. The NEBS-compliant Traverse platform provides aggregation, switching and transport of Carrier Ethernet and TDM services from a single carrier-grade chassis. With scalability up to 95 Gbps per shelf, the Traverse is optimized for metro networks and high capacity aggregation sites in central offices, colocation facilities and service hubs.
Cell Site Access Aggregators
The Force10 Networks’ MASTERseries platform is designed for aggregating and optimizing backhaul of cell site traffic over any TDM, ATM, Ethernet, and/or IP-based transport network. Purpose-built for deployments in wireless operators’ cell sites and small hub sites, the highly flexible platform integrates multiple functions in one compact shelf. In addition to advanced ATM inter-working, pseudowire, and layer 2 Ethernet switching capabilities, the MASTERseries provides optional functionality, such as Abis transport optimization and DS0 grooming/DCS, that maximize bandwidth efficiency and minimize network operating costs. The MASTERseries is a proven platform that has been installed in tens of thousands of cell sites by multiple top-tier wireless operators.
Converged Access Devices
Widely deployed with over 120,000 units in service, Force10 Networks’ Adit 600 provides a versatile, carrier-grade Converged Services Access Gateway. Optimized for a wide range of applications, the Adit 600 combines multi-network access and multi-service delivery capabilities into a single compact chassis. This results in an extremely cost-effective and flexible access platform that simplifies the migration from TDM to next-generation VoIP and IP data services for service providers and small to medium business (SMB) customers.
Metro Access Platforms
Force10’s TraverseEdge multiservice edge multiplexers combine flexible Ethernet, TDM, and SONET/SDH in a compact and affordable family of products. The TraverseEdge platforms are ideally deployed in metro access settings that require multiservice transport over fiber including outside plant cabinets, multi-tenant units (MTUs), cell sites, and on the customer premises. The product family consists of the TraverseEdge 206 (TE-206), the TraverseEdge 100 (TE-100) and the TraverseEdge 50 (TE-50).
