EDI
EDI relationships are a standard and stable method of B2B integration. Communications can be handled via FTP, SFTP, FTP over SSL, or VAN. Walker supports a wide range of transactions including:

XML/CSV
These plain text document formats are another excellent way to transmit data. Since they are custom setups, they can provide more flexibility than traditional EDI while still providing ease of data transfer. Communications can be handled via FTP, SFTP, FTP over SSL, or VAN.
Punch-out Catalogs
Many of today's ERPs are offering various methods of "punch-out" catalogs. This allows you to browse, build and order in Walker's catalog directly from within your ERP. This helps facilitate timely and accurate purchase order builds. When combined with an automated order submission method, like EDI, you have a complete ordering solution from within your ERP system.
API
Walker's API is built to provide access to data in our systems via HTTP requests and XML/JSON data returns. Our API is a REST based implementation that provides data "on demand". The customer chooses when they want data and Walker’s systems respond with the data requested. This is a custom offering, allowing Walker to provide the data you need in a convenient format.
